The Red Action organized a rally in Turku on the 28th of March against the genocidal operation Kagaar of the Indian old State. In the event, a speech was heard, in which the New Democratic Revolution in India was supported and the role of Finland in exploiting India was denounced.
In the speech it was said, for example:
“The “green transition” and “digitization” marketed by Finnish imperialism mean stealing the lands of the poor Adivasi-peasants, it means developing education that matches the interests of the Finnish companies and not one that would serve the people. It means driving Indians to toil in the most lowly conditions in the imperialist countries. It means staying quiet of the crimes by this “largest democracy in the world” against its own people, the crimes against Muslims, dissidents, Communists, against all those who stand in the way of the hindutva State fulfilling its vision of how India could be even more subjugated to the exploitation and oppression of imperialists.
Finnish imperialism has blood of the Indian people in its hands. We strongly condemn its actions in India and its silence in front of Operation Kagaar.
The Communist Party of India (Maoist) has even in the midst of hardships vowed it will remain on the path of the revolution, of the People’s War. As long as the oppressed masses of the people rely on their own forces and keep to the path of struggle, they cannot be crushed.
It is our internationalist duty to support the revolution in this world’s most populous country and support that the Indian reaction and imperialists will fail in their goal to crush the revolution in the end of this month!”
Slogans such as “Down with operation Kagaar! Long live the Indian revolution!”, “The reaction is bound to lose, the people of India will triumph!”, “Finland out of India!” and “Found the international Anti-imperialist League!” were shouted.
Passerbys expressed interest and support to the rally.
In addition, flyers were distributed in Tampere.
